Following the success of two previous editions, Taganrog Chekhov Public Library and Taganrog Local Government’s Foreign Relations Office invite you to take part in the 3rd International Reading and Literature Project “The World Reads Chekhov.” The project is dedicated to Anton Chekhov’s literary heritage.
How to enter:
1. Make a video clip (using your smartphone, tablet PC, videocamera or built-in camera of your computer), where you are reading aloud a fragment from Chekhov’s works in any language for not longer than 2 minutes.
2. Send your video to world.reads.chekhov@gmail.com before February 1, 2025.
The following details have to be provided:
1) your country and city (or town, or village);
2) your first and last names;
3) the title of the chosen Anton Chekhov’s work.
Video clips will be published on our Facebook account.

Terms and conditions of participation:
Open to: libraries, museums, theaters, non-government organizations, artist groups and studios, educational and pre-school facilities, volunteer groups and individual amateur participants.
Age: no age limits.
Subjects: any of Anton Chekhov’s works.
All participants will receive a digital participation certificate.
You are encouraged to share the results of your activity in social networks using hashtag #readingchekhov.
